A symposium organised by the Leicester University postgraduate students to meet and discuss research with their counterparts from Lund, and wider afield. The aim is to network and identify how our research groups could work together to tackle complex problems in the life sciences, with the hope to spearhead collaborations between research groups in the UK and Europe. The meeting will also be a unique experience and excellent training in multidisciplinary science.
The event will take place in Lund, Sweden, and will focus on introducing different techniques and different biological problems. There will be opportunities to submit an abstract for oral (limited number) or poster presentations.
There will be 3 sessions, including:
- Structure, function and dynamics of macro-molecular complexes
- Chemical biology
- The role of metals and small molecules in biology
