HALRIC at Folkemødet

Folkemødet is the biggest democratic event in Denmark with a packed program of debates, speeches, workshops and much more, arranged by political parties, companies and associations. Citizens and decision-makers, and all the stakeholders in between, meet up to engage in dialogue.

This year Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak has their own tent in collaboration with Interreg Deutchland-Denmark and HALRIC is one of nine projects that have been invited to pitch at their ‘Cross-border peptalks’ on 13/6 at 16-17. Find out more HERE (in Danish).

AND on 14/6 at 11.30-12.30 there is an HALRIC-only showcase where visitors can experience a test scan using visible light-tomography in 3D, facilitated by Emanuel Larsson. They can also try on a pair of VR glasses from InfraVis to almost touch a protein structure.

We hope it will inspire conversations about new imaging technologies in Life Science and how HALRIC is working to bring new users from hospitals and industry into collaborative pilot projects with HALRIC partner universities and unique and large-scale Research Infrastructures.  In addition to Emanuel, Jakob Øster, Rigshospitalet and Mette Bach Dyremose, Medicon Valley Alliance will also be there to engage with stakeholders.
