The aim of this project is to develop and pilot an integrated data infrastructure that will streamline the handling, submission and retrieval of small angle scattering (SAS) data across borders. This will be achieved by leveraging leading research infrastructures and community standards. By improving user interfaces, automating data deposition and retrieval, and enhancing support for advanced data types (including X-ray and neutron data), we will reduce the barriers faced by academic and industrial users alike.
The project will deliver practical tools, tutorials and workflows, such as automated pipelines for uploading SASView data to the SASBDB database, as well as integration with emerging databases. In doing so, it will foster cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange. These results will promote more efficient, reproducible and FAIR data practices in life science research and industry, thereby contributing to the broader objectives of HALRIC and the ÖKS-Hamburg region.
