About HALRIC

Science Hub

From a successful project to a lasting collaboration

Over the past three years, the HALRIC project has brought together 21 partners across Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Norway to demonstrate how cross‑border collaboration around Europe’s cutting-edge research infrastructures can unlock new scientific, clinical, and innovation potential. As the HALRIC project period comes to an end, its results point clearly to one conclusion: the value created through structured coordination should not stop with the project.

The HALRIC Science Hub is the continuation of this collaboration. It is designed to carry forward — and scale — the coordination model developed under HALRIC, moving from a time‑limited project to a stable, long‑term structure.

What the HALRIC Science Hub will do

The Science Hub will act as a permanent cross‑border coordination and brokerage function, ensuring that advanced research infrastructures translate into real impact. It will:

By institutionalising the coordination developed during the HALRIC project, the HALRIC Science Hub preserves momentum, reduces fragmentation, and secures the long‑term value of more than a decade of cross‑border collaboration.
