HALRIC just hit a major milestone: 26 new pilot projects have been selected in our latest call, bringing us past our goal of funding 75 cross-border Life Science collaborations in the Öresund–Kattegat–Skagerrak–Hamburg region.
These new projects span a wide range of scientific fields, including structural and molecular biology, multiomics, diagnostics, drug delivery, and probiotics.

The pilot projects represent exactly what HALRIC was created for: bringing together researchers, clinicians, infrastructure experts, and industry across borders to explore new ideas, develop prototypes, and unlock complex biological data. This achievement owes much to our cross-border ambassadors, whose dedication has been essential to reaching so many diverse collaborators.
Since launching the first pilot call in 2023, HALRIC has received an increasing number of strong and ambitious applications, confirming the growing demand for cross-border collaboration and access to world-class research infrastructures.
