About HALRIC

The Hanseatic Life Science Research Infrastructure Consortium (HALRIC) boosts innovation in the Life Science sector across Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Sweden by providing access to cutting-edge research infrastructures, including MAX IV, ESS, DESY, and European XFEL. Funded by the EU Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak programme, HALRIC supports cross-border collaboration through pilot projects that bring together academia, hospitals, and industry. The consortium also pioneers data handling solutions via the Hanseatic Science Cloud, helping partners manage the massive datasets generated by advanced research.
